[Hidden-tech] domain name acquisition

There is one problem I've heard about using Gandi.net - they are indeed a
French company, and more than a few Americans of my acquaintance who swear
by their service have had their credit card fraud locks tripped when the
charge goes through...

Even with that caveat - from those who have experienced it at really
inconvenient times - those people continue to enthusiastically recommend
the service.
