Hi Ann/All

Just piping in to say that WordPress will also allow you to upload images
that are 1500 pixels wide and then size them for the device and the site in
the website. I think you will find that, as a do-it-yourselfer unfamiliar
with code, Wordpress is by far the easiest and most powerful option. The
plethora of plugins and themes that are easily available, plenty/most of
which are free, make it the perfect option for you. There are also SO many
people using WordPress it makes finding help when you are stuck very easy.

A good place to start is http://www.wpbeginner.com. Even for the seasoned
WordPress designer it is a wonderful resource.

Good luck!

All the best
Sarah

Kind regards
Sarah
