[Hidden-tech] iBooks Author?

Folks,

I'm looking for some guidance with using iBooks Author. It and the Apple Bookstore seem like the platforms that I want to go with for my short novel, but I have never encountered a less Apple-like tool in three decades of using their stuff. If you consult or just want to share and have experience with this software, let me know.
