If you want to keep the RAID configuration, you will need to download 
the correct matrix drivers for the specific Intel chipset used in your 
motherboard from the Intel site. Copy them to a DOS formatted floppy 
disk (if the HP has a floppy drive), or burn them to a CD.

You should be able to press F6 during boot and load the drivers into 
Windows during the installation from the floppy or CD.

If you don't want to preserve the RAID configuration, go into the BIOS 
Setup and change the hard drive configuration from RAID to AHCI or IDE. 
If you know the drives are SATA, use AHCI (it might be just labeled SATA 
given the age of the system).

You should also be able to get the appropriate user manuals from the HP 
site for that system, which might help with some of the above.
