[Hidden-tech] New vs. recycled toner cartridges?

For a number of years, I've mostly used recycled cartridges, and have
mostly gotten them from Ink & Toner solutions in Noho. Lexmark and
HP. I've gotten I think two bad ones, which they replaced. I've also
gotten bad ones bought new. My first laser printer was a Canon, and
the recycled cartridges were horrible. I bought new from Quill--but
this was 1990 to aobut 1994, and technology has improved since then.
