[Hidden-tech] New vs. recycled toner cartridges?

We have a brother cn 4040 color laser which needs 4 color cartridges.

Non-original cartridges have been poor color vs. Factory originals.

Kind of bummed because replacements cost at least $100 each.

Considering a different color laser printer if folks have recommendations..

** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area.
** If you did, we all thank you.

I have used Brother printers for years and would strongly recommend
against using anything but genuine Brother cartridges in them. Brother
cartridges are extremely reliable and use a very high quality toner. It
just isn't worth taking a risk for the small difference in cost.

A new Brother TN-350 cartridge costs 43.95 from Amazon.com with free
shipping. Be sure to buy the one listed as sold by Amazon.com, and not
by other Amazon Marketplace vendors, which may not be genuine Brother.
