Fostering Art and Culture Project presents Art and Business in Partnership the theme for
the Creative Economy Summit 3 that takes over downtown Greenfield on Friday & Saturday
March 23 and 24. Artists, business owners and municipal leaders are encouraged to attend
this major event that was designed to inspire, motivate, educate and foster insights to
marketing strategies and build collaboration that support art and business in Franklin
County. Workshops and panels will cover useful topics including the latest marketing,
branding and internet strategies. Panels will focus on examples and ideas to support
unique business and artist collaborations for communities.

Highlights for the two-day Creative Economy Summit 3 include over 35 presenters beginning
with the March Franklin County Chamber of Commerce breakfast meeting with a panel speaking
about Art and Business in Partnership.

The summit keynote introduces Peter Kageyama an internationally recognized expert on
community development and grassroots engagement. He is the author of For the Love of
Cities that explores in detail the value of emotional engagement with our cities, how that
connection is created and nurtured, and how it can be turned into a development resource
for Franklin County.

Dan Farrell, producer of Antiques Roadshow will present “Where Why and How the Arts
Intersect with Business”. Helena Fruscio, the newly appointed Creative Economy Industry
Director for the state of Massachusetts, will speak on how the challenges for businesses
and artists are very much the same.

The cost for attendance is $35 for both days, all centrally located in the heart of
Greenfield. We recognize that your attendance is valuable to this conversation.
