I recently went from a 13" MacBook Pro with an additional monitor to a 27" iMac. The higher processing power of the iMac is certainly a plus, but I feel a little out of touch with normal monitor sizes- I'm often surprised when I see how my designs look on a smaller screen. And the additional space wasn't as helpful as you would think. I can't full screen any windows, which leaves my screen looking kind of jumbled- a second screen is much more useful. I think my preference would be to have a 15" or 17" MBP with a second screen roughly the same size. Make sure you have a high quality monitor for your second though- the bad color on cheap monitors can make them impossible to design on. -- COLIN PANETTA Creative Director, left-click www.left-click.us FACEBOOK facebook.com/leftclickus TWITTER twitter.com/leftclickme LINKEDIN linkedin.com/in/colinpanetta BLOG left-click.us/news/20 left-click Corporation 78 Main St. Suite 401 Northampton, MA 01060 +001 877 289 9820 * 3 colin at left-click.us CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This email message, including all attachments, may contain information that is confidential, proprietary, privileged or otherwise protected by law. Do you have a laptop or desktop? Do you hook either up to a larger monitor? What are the screen sizes of those items? How small do you go on laptop screen size? > Thanks, > NancyA > > -- > "Don't believe what you think." > > > _______________________________________________ > Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net > Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net > > You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list. > If you would like to change your list preferences, Go to the Members > page on the Hidden Tech Web site. > http://www.hidden-tech.net/members >
