Hi Dan,

I can't say I've seen the same thing, I have a few APC's, some purchased within the last few months even that are all working well.

I would suggest following Cyberpower's instructions on what to do as far as charging everything up and break in (if they have them). Then just see if it lasts as long as expected on battery. Aside from that, there isn't a whole lot that can be tested. I would always keep any eye on the monitoring application for the UPS, as it will alert if there is an issue with the unit.

Best,
-Elijah.

I would suggest giving yours a little bit of testing to make sure it works if you decide to stick with that model (though that holds true with any UPS).

Since then I've switched to APC and been much happier. The APC comes at a price premium, but it is definitely a case of "you get what you pay for."
