Hi Tom,

I used Square Up for a friend's retail event where I was taking orders via
her iPhone using Square Up. It worked great. We didn't have the accessory to
be able to swipe CC's but I thought it worked great. I punched in the cc
number along with expiration dates and 3 # code. It also allowed us to type
in the user's email so the receipt could be emailed to them and it was a
nifty way of capturing their email to add them to a mailing list if you
want. Only need to worry about a good "signal" where you are using your
iPhone. Sometimes we had a bit of a delay in processing due to weak signal.
I haven't used any other card reading devices.

Hope this helps,

Dan
