I have been a fan of Warby Parker for a few years now. If you like plastic frames they have some classic shapes and all their glasses are $95 including Rx lenses. You can request up to five different frames to try on for free. They also provide someone in need a pair of glasses for every pair that they sell. Plus their website is well designed. http://www.warbyparker.com Pete On Nov 14, 2011, at 11:34 AM, Mitch Anthony wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > Hidden-techers- > > For years I bought my eyeglass frames as readers or sunglasses then had my custom prescription lenses put in them. > > Starting about 2 years ago I started hearing: "The lab can't do this because they don't have the proper grooves and the lens will pop right out." > > Having worn glasses "without the proper grooves" for years I know this not to be true.
