Kimo makes a good point.

And using something like Bento (Mac only) or FileMaker, gives you the
flexibility to store all kinds of other account info on all kinds of other
accounts.

Besides, it's *offline* which means its accessible even when net is down
(rare as that may be!).  Backups is a definite must, as is hard copy --
which we don't think so much about these days,
