Adam, Does the organization holding the event already have a Facebook event page? It's best to create based on that vs. creating a lone event page. That's just my two cents. I've used Facebook for a variety of event marketing/PR. At this point, depending on the audience, not sure it's worth the time to mess with MySpace.
