Three comments, just to keep the buzz about Hidden-Tech Idol going.

1) I just uploaded my entry (ten takes in 40 minutes - ridiculous.
Sort of like recording my outgoing phone message, only much worse) and sent
it to: htidol at hidden-tech.net. Get going on your entry and trust me, stick
with the first one you record!

2) I've talked to multiple Hidden Techies who want to step up but are
stymied by either video-fright, or the mistaken belief they have nothing to
teach. In Financial Services? How about teaching me the top three things I
can do now to insure a comfy retirement. Are you a recruiter? How about
teaching me the fastest, easiest way to stay on the radar of firms seeking
contract hires? Graphic Designer? Show me some self-help resources and tips
on how to choose between the do-it-yourself route or hiring a pro. Massage
Therapist? Use your imagination.

3) Don't hold back. Remember, our community will decide what lessons
they want. I've you have something valuable to share, share it and leave
your fragile ego outside. (I know, easier said than done! From the guy who
re-recorded essentially the same message ten times so that I didn't look
like a goof. Yikes! Maybe I still do.)

Get recording and let's start voting . You have 10 days.
