Neal, There's an awesome book: Forecast Scheduling with Microsoft Project 2010 - Perfect Paperback (Dec. 11, 2010) by Eric Uyttewaal, Doc (Mark) Dochtermann, Chuck Magee, Kevin Watson, et al. I've read dozens of MS Project books, and this is the ONE. Though if you aren't married to Project, I highly recommend http://liquidplanner.com. I use this as my PM tool, and I make my living as a project manager.
