Hi Don,

I have experience with databases - large and small-scale. Over the last few
years I have worked with nonprofits and small businesses using
Filemaker Pro<http://www.filemaker.com/products/filemaker-pro/>as the
database of choice - for its price, ease of use, and cross-platform
support (can be used on macs and PC's in the same office!). Depending on
what your clients are looking for this might be a great choice. You can find
