Not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but you might want to check the opensource video section of www.archive.org here: http://www.archive.org/details/opensource_movies

I haven't looked at it in depth but they pull stuff out and post it on youtube once awhile and I've known a few people who have used it for random video work.  It might have something useful.

Check out the Live Music Archive while you're there if you haven't already.
