[Hidden-tech] Bizarre Mac Malfunction

I assume you have tried an emergency shut-down and restart and the
problem persists after restarting?

Have you tried zapping your p-ram on restart? (hold down four keys --
option and command and P and R -- on restart, keep holding them down
until it has chimed three times and then let go).

Do you have a wired mouse? You would try shutting down, turning off
the bluetooth mouse and restarting with the wired mouse plugged in. If
you can get at your system preferences, go to trackpad and click on
"ignore trackpad when mouse is present."

Good luck. Let us know what works, I'd be glad to know, just in case...
