[Hidden-tech] Suggestions for a company outing

We are looking to do a small company outing, local, for employees and
families. We're considering swimming/picnic at a local pond. Does
anyone have suggestions for a good location, or another outing in the
Amherst/Northampton/Hadley, Greenfield area for 15-20 people?

It will be the end of August - will Puffer Pond in Amherst be full of
returning students?
I also heard about Cranberry Pond in Sunderland and Upper Highland
Lake in Goshen, but don't know if either would be suitable.

If there's an option for kayaking, that might work as well.
Suggestions appreciated!
