[Hidden-tech] Ventura Replacement

Hello all,

I've been using Ventura Publisher for serious writing projects ever since
it was a DOS application back in the '80s. But it's pretty clear that
Corel isn't going to put any more effort into the product. I'm thinking
it's time to find a replacement - it hasn't been updated in 8 or 9 years.
Can any of our tech writers suggest a replacement for large writing
projects on PC computers?
