** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area.
** If you did, we all thank you.

Jeff,

here's a pretty active although decidedly(?) 'oldschool' looking site that covers the five college area: http://www.fivecol-soc.net/
and twitter using #westernma works well for quick blasts of info & will get you posted on the wetsernma twitter "newspaper" & http://wmtweeps.com/ etc, etc

I'm helping out with PR for an arts event at the end of March - the Hands All Around Quilt Show at the Mullins Center on March 26th and 27th - http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=154418274607098

I'm pretty well versed on "traditional" media in the Valley, but I'm looking for specific ways to reach people electronically. I know of two Valley-specific email lists for parents.

However, do you know of any email lists or websites to reach professors/faculty at the five colleges? Or, do you know of any arts-related email lists or calendars?

In addition, the show is going to feature a specific display of quilts made by people whose lives have been impacted by Alzheimers. I would also like to try and target medical professionals, etc. who might be interested in this special exhibit - ALZHEIMER'S ILLUSTRATED: FROM HEARTBREAK TO HOPE from the ALZHEIMER'S ART QUILT INITIATIVE. Again, do you know of any niche email lists or ways to reach this target audience electronically?

In return for any feedback, thoughts, I'll gladly share with you all the information I've gathered thus far for publicizing an event in the Valley - traditional and digital media.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. And, fyi, I've already created a LinkedIn calendar event for the show :)
