[Hidden-tech] On Line Gallery - On Line Events in General

Hello Hidden Tec

On Sunday the 13th starting at 8:00 there will be an on line gallery  
show
All to be experienced from the comfort of you home

I am interested in feedback as to how the show is set up
Are others doing online events?
What are you using to have the events?

This event will have 10 different Artist who will have their own  
"gallery" space to show there work
There will be abstract paintings, photographs, music, and videos of  
poets
The show will be up for 6 months
On opening night you will be able to talk to the artist, in the  
online wine and cheese room

Mostly flash was used to set up the show with a plug and play
What else is out there?
This needs the viewer with decent internet service, there are still  
many on phone lines that the show is not set up for

I am one of the poets who created 5 new videos for the show

I have been asked to possibly be the person who sets up the show next  
year
I find the site to download very slowly
Last year there were 20,000 visitors
I find the concept interesting
Are others doing similar events?

Thanks for any feed back and thoughts on how to do this better
