[Hidden-tech] Photo Calendar Printing

Hey folks,
It was great to see so many of you at the Hotel Northampton last evening, bad weather and all. We have a committed, as well as very collaborative group. Thanks to Claudia et al for their great organizing effort.

A photo-buddy of mine made a great suggestion, of my making a calendar of some of my best photos, and sending them as a holiday gift to some of my organization development clients. I've been working successfully on doing that via iPhoto on my MacBook, but just discovered that Apple charges more than $20 per calendar, even if they are ordered in bulk.

I wonder if it might be possible to convey the completed iPhoto file to a local printer and have them produce the actual calendars, I hopefully imagine at a much cheaper price. At this point I'm envisioning between 30 and 50.

Any thoughts? BTW - I usually use Aperture (and Photoshop), but for some reason iPhoto is the only one that has a program for making calendars, and a pretty user-friendly one at that. Thanks for whatever guidance you can provide.

Saludos,
Alan Hurwitz
