We had this working for a long while (a couple of years)... hooked a laptop up to the HDTV... worked well enough... but we wanted faster streaming (for Netflix) so we just went to Google TV... it's a $99 box that connects wirelessly to our TV and gives us a browser plus apps like Netflix, Pandora, HBO Go, and a whole lot more. We are sooo happy now! The only downside is that the networks (or Hulu) don't allow video playback on Google TV... but I hear that's coming, as is the Android app store.. Lynn -- Lynn A.
