[Hidden-tech] dry ice?

Here's what I learned after the spring micro burst and multi day power
outage. No local ice companies (including Summit Ice) regularly carry dry
ice. They wait until there's a need for it and then order it from a
supplier, and this relatively small amount of dry ice arrives a day or so
later and is immediately gobbled up. It's better to take matters into your
own hands. Which means driving to Enfield Ct to get some.
Now, if we get the wallop they are saying we'll get, that dry ice company in
Enfield is going to be swamped with demand, unlike the springtime when the
damage was heavy but very localized.
