First, I'd look at what the rates are when the teaser expired and what
bandwidth that price provides. I had 1.5 Mb service (the equivalent of a
T1, or half the bandwidth of low-end Charter service) and it was
substantially more than that per month.

GAW (Great Awk Wireless) is a wireless ISP - great for places you can't get
wired service but subject to all the drawbacks of over the air service. Of
the two sites served by GAW, one was rock solid outside of some lightning
strike issues (the serving tower was hit and fried twice in one summer - we
were down for more than a business day each time) and the other was
frustrating, but wireless service was our only real option there.

The people at GAW were great, and they worked hard on improving the service
at our problem site, but the geography worked against them.

I'm not really a fan of Charter, but they may be a better choice.
