[Hidden-tech] getting paid / working in Canada

hi hidden techers,

I've been hired to shoot a promo video for a business in Canada this summer. 

Anyone have any special info I need to know regarding:
• getting my equipment through customs: we're driving & I'll  just a minimal setup- 3 bags of gear & tripod).
• getting paid / intrntl tax concerns?
