Hi Scott, When I have needed Sharepoint help I found this company, www.sharepoint911.com I worked with the owner, Shane Young the first time and Chris Caravajal the second time. He found and fixed the craziest login problem I have ever seen. They only do Sharepoint and know it inside and out. We've been give a spec for a Microsoft SharePoint site with a Public Module, Public (Logged In) Module and an Administration module. We know we can develop the site using ASP.NET/SQL Server and we believe we can 'simply' deploy it to the SharePoint server. With that said, the spec really does lend itself more to being developed as a SharePoint site, which is where we are in the deep end of the pool. So in deciding which way to go, we have a few questions: a) Has anyone in the group been in this position before, specifically with SharePoint? b) Can anyone point us to an experienced SharePoint Developer with a solid resume that can potentially. Minimally, guide us with our decision to take the project or not based on knowing our current skill sets and their expertise in knowing SharePoint. Also, if we do take the project we will want to retain this resource to come aboard the project at some capacity, which we can determine with this individual once we know where we stand. Thank you in advance for your input.
