[Hidden-tech] Advice on Weebly & Free websites

Makes sense. I'm a big believer in being as frugal as possible. But
not in shooting myself in the foot.

She should check with whoever provides her with Internet--many would
have free webspace included as part of the account, can do the site
for free with wordpress.org, and then it's easier to justify the nine
bucks for the domain.

There are also many business paybacks from that decision, such as
being able to have an e-mail address that doesn't change if she
changes ISPs or webhosts later as her needs change, and having total
control of her own content.

If she still goes the free route, she should consider hosting on
wordpress.com, and then porting over to her own domain once she can
afford it.

I will say in Weebly's favor that the sites I have seen there have
not been a turnoff.
