[Hidden-tech] Battery recycling

Hi,

This has probably been covered before, but where can we recycle batteries in
the greater Northampton area? Radio Shack used to take them, but don't any
more.

I am aware that alkaline batteries can go in the trash, but I'm needing to
recycle/properly dispose of lithium, nickel cadmium, and also the big packs
from my cordless drill, etc.
