Hi Lori, The single best book is The Art of SEO (www.artofseobook.com). Also, both Dummies books are very good. My understanding of this email list¹s policies suggests that it would be OK for me to say to Lori that my firm has been doing SEO since 1997, and I¹m sure we can help. Also, for those of you who attended the recent event, October 13 event, ³Making Sense of SEO,² this week I will be posting an important piece of news about Google¹s keyword research tool, which we discussed that night. In short, the tool recently became much worse for SEO keyword research, and the books and most web resources don¹t yet address this problem. I feel obliged to point people to alternatives, but have been hit by a lot of work while also researching some great new keyword tools, so I¹ll be posting on this topic in the coming week. Important emails should be followed up with a phone call if no reply happens within an expected span of time.
