Allyson,

NCIIA might want to augment its IT expansion with social media tools to drive not just interest, but outside action and grants. Here're links and contact info that you may find quite valuable from a person I've worked with on projects. His name is Joseph Carrabis.

I'm very confident Joseph can add real program and revenue value to your analysis and deployment of social media, e.g., see the "Latest Research" item below. Also see "Sentiment Analysis 101" under his "Recent Writings." The "101" item assesses several people from our team, one of whom is me. Talk about full disclosure. And his work goes far beyond that (useful) tool.

These are teaser items. His paid work delivers tools and designs that generate targeted results on which clients can build or expand their book of business. His tool fees are very good as they leverage his expertise. His personal time is both not cheap and very worthwhile. I'd suggest tools before time, but that depends on your time frame for impact growth and resource growth. We have no finder's fee arrangement.

A lot of people want his team's support to apply his tools and methods. He tends to prioritize indications of interest by the degree to which he believes an outfit really wants to learn and act, versus display how much they know about a subject he's been pursuing one way or another since the late 1980s (he gets that a lot because social tools seem "obvious")...
