Have you tried scanning the document and using an OCR program? I had good
luck in a similar situation using an HP all-in-one with their built in OCR
program. Much faster than having to retype the original.

I'm looking for someone who can take a type-written manuscript of about 50
single-spaced pages and re-type it into a Word document. The project is
still in it's planning stages, but I need to know rough costs upfront. Any
referrals, suggestions, names, would be appreciated.
