What type of phone is it? And do you have a USB cable for it, or does
it have a flash memory card?
If you have a USB connection for it, you can try this:
http://www.bitpim.org/
I used to use BitPim regularly for an LG VX8300 and I was able to
export and back up everything on the phone - text messages, pictures,
contact lists, missed calls lists, etc. and it has a variety of export
formats once the data is retrieved.
If your phone is on this list then you should be able to use BitPim:
http://www.bitpim.org/help/phones.htm
Even if it's not, you might still be able to use it view the File
System and possibly retrieve your data that way:
http://www.bitpim.org/help/phones-other.htm
