Will they be using a bar code scanner, receipt printer and/or cash draw ?
Quickbooks is one well known method for a POS system using a standard
computer...not sure if it can handle a touch screen.
I don't have any experience setting up a POS system but I know these are
questions that will need to be answered.

** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area.

I'm posting for a friend and will forward all replies. In her own words:

"looking for someone to help me find a good POS retail software for the
store. I would like the person to be local. We would need the software
installed and we would need help learning the system and to hold our hand
when things get messy."

Thanks
Izzy
