[Hidden-tech] Acrobat Pro 9 on Mac– Embedding a Video?

If I understand correctly, the video needs to be encoded as FLV for  
the Acrobat Pro version (not Extended) .  There are a number of free  
and shareware tools that will convert the files.  You might want to  
try to first convert it using this, which is free:
http://www.ffmpegx.com/

It is a front-end to many trusted and tested open-source video  
encoding/decoding tools.

The advantage of the extended version of Acrobat Pro seems to be the  
ability to accept any file type and do the video encoding to FLV on  
import.  As long as you don't mind doing the extra step, this should  
work for you.
