If I understand correctly, the video needs to be encoded as FLV for the Acrobat Pro version (not Extended) . There are a number of free and shareware tools that will convert the files. You might want to try to first convert it using this, which is free: http://www.ffmpegx.com/ It is a front-end to many trusted and tested open-source video encoding/decoding tools. The advantage of the extended version of Acrobat Pro seems to be the ability to accept any file type and do the video encoding to FLV on import.
