[Hidden-tech] Copying from MacBook to DVD

Yes, I've been told only to use DVD-R not the DVD+R (DVD PLUS R) with  
a Mac. This restriction may be removed in the very latest OS version,  
but not in 10.4.

Otherwise, you need to trouble shoot the drive itself. They have  
mechanical parts and do wear out, although a well cared for machine  
four years old should be OK. For starters, make sure it can read an  
existing disk OK, then try to burn a CD.
