[Hidden-tech] Networking Guru Needed

Peter, your guess is partly right, getting user and system permissions
synced up between those 3 is not easy, Vista being the most difficult.
But also, your anti-virus may be causing problems too, I have seen the
Comcast supplied McAfee block traffic in these type of situations.
I will also throw my hat into the ring, I can help you too.

Peter,

I'll give you my default computer guru recommendation of Kiernan at Green
Earth Computers who is part of this list. I don't know for certain whether
he does networking, but it's worth a shot. I've heard nothing but good
things.

We have a home-based business with some networking challenges. We need
somebody to come in for a few hours to get everything communicating
properly. Here is the hardware on the network:
1) Two Linksys wireless routers
2) Two computers running Windows 7
3) Two computers running Windows Vista
4) Two computers running Windows XP
5) Three printers
6) Network attached storage

The mix of operating systems seems to be creating a challenge where not
every computer is communicating properly with every other component. Anybody
available to come in to straighten things out ... or have a referral to
someone who can?
