Huh, that desktop shortcut feature is an interesting addition.  
Although, that would be a fun and easy project to accomplish with a  
bash script.  I'll have to check fetch out.  I remember downloading  
that in maybe '90!  Back then the dog was a little 8-bit black and  
white animation.  I remember watching that dog run for what seemed  
like hours to download stuff on a 14.4k modem.

Anyway, one more addition to my CyberDuck plug:  It does support drag- 
and-drop.  It is completely free and open source.  It supports MANY  
transfer protocols (including secure, encrypted) including some of the  
newer cloud based ones.  It has a dashboard widget, and supports OSX  
quick look(spacebar preview).  And most importantly, you can link it  
to a multitude of external text and code editors to edit text  
documents and automatically sync your changes, which is REALLY helpful  
in web-dev and servers.
