[Hidden-tech] old computers

I have a very low-income friend with disabilities moving here (with
her young child) from Maine in the near future to pursue a graduate
degree at Antioch. Her computer is not working, and she has no idea
how she will pursue a university education without one.

I promise to wipe the drive thoroughly (I have an "erase to zeros"
method to do that) and have been IT-admin for a couple of non-
profits... if you or anyone else has an old but serviceably-useful
laptop to donate to this worthy cause.

p.s. am going to Vancouver for two weeks on Tuesday so would prefer
to make arrangements prior to leaving, thank you.
