[Hidden-tech] More on Google Calendar

Hi,

Thanks to all who responded to my query suggesting Google Calendar. I tried
to set up a calendar and here's the message I got, because my mail is set up
in Google Apps. I don't understand this. Can anyone help? I also can't set
up the mail on my droid because of the Google Apps problem.

If you're seeing an "Oops. A calendar already exists for [your email
address]" error, it means that your email address is currently associated
with a Google Apps Account as well as a regular Google Account.

To regain access to your non-hosted Google Calendar, please change the email
address used for your Google Account to an email address not associated with
your domain or an existing Google Account. To do so, follow these steps:

1.	Sign in <http://www.google.com/accounts/>  to that Google Account. 
2.	Click Edit from the Personal information section. 
3.	Change your email address. Please remember to use an email address
that's not used to sign up for an existing Google Account. In addition, the
new email address can't be associated with a domain that currently uses
Google Apps. 

Although new invitations will be sent to your new Google Apps calendar, any
entries on your old calendar won't be migrated over to your Google Apps
calendar.

If you'd like to access your Google Apps calendar associated with your
domain, just sign in at http://www.google.com/calendar/a/[your domain] (Make
sure to replace [your domain] with your actual domain name)
