[Hidden-tech] Hi8 MP to VHS

Hi everyone,
    I looked online see that a Hi8 MP to VHS adapter doesn't exist 
sadly.  Does anyone have a camera that I could borrow or rent at a very 
low cost to just transfer off some wedding video from one of my friend's 
weddings?   I have a really expensive Canopus box and Adobe software to 
do the transition to digital video, I just don't have a camera that can 
play the tapes.
