[Hidden-tech] New to the area, looking for a few recommendations

Thanks Joel and everyone else! Some great recommendations.

I thought I had finally settled on Charter despite all the negative feedback on them that folks shared when I posted previously. We live in a Comcast area now and while their customer service seems bad, the cable internet is fast and reliable — I've only had one outage in the 3 years we've had it.

I'm just afraid that DSL won't work for the 2 of us working from home and my need to upload/download large files (graphic design stuff) with clients.

Is Charter as an ISP really as bad as people say? How often have you experienced outages and how long do they usually last?

Is Charter Business service more reliable? (and worth the premium?)

Thanks,
Jason
