IT Support Specialist We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join our team who primarily will offer support in management of our DNS and e-mail service, both internally and to clients in our physician website program, and who will also be able to quickly learn new skills to provide other technical and/or customer support services to internal and external clients, including website edits, resolving software functionality issues, networking basic troubleshooting, OS and browser-related problem solving and phone system management. The introductory position requires a technically savvy individual who can communicate clearly and precisely. As a member of Healthcommunities.com Technical Customer Support, the Support Specialist must provide real-time technical support to Healthcommunities.com and its practice website clients through e-mail and phone interactions and then log communications in our proprietary Customer Relations Management system. The Customer Support Specialist is expected to quickly gain proficiency in our DNS and e-mail system, working under the guidance of senior team, and learn other skills/complete other tasks as assigned. Responsibilities: Phone technical support with doctors or IT groups supporting physician practices Setting up, transferring, renewing, and managing DNS Managing e-mail Solving common user problems in real time, including software functionality problems; data communication/networking basic troubleshooting; installation problems; and OS and browser related issues Maintain ownership of cases until resolution Seek assistance from senior team members and technical leads to drive resolution of cases Resolve incidents in a timely manner Escalate top priority, production-critical issues to the appropriate technical staff Management of out Inter-Tel phone system (training available) Special projects like generating reports, data import/exports and more (training available) Qualifications/Skills Basic technical understanding of DNS Basic understanding of e-mail Quick ability to pick up new skills Strong team player with excellent communication, customer interaction and problem solving skills 2-5 years experience in a supporting IT field desired Schedule must allow for some flexibility Send résumé to: Tom Lund, VP, Operations & Business Development Healthcommunities.com, Inc. tlund at healthcommunities.com 136 West Street, Suite 201 Northampton, MA 01060 Tom Lund | VP, Operations & Business Development Healthcommunities.com, Inc.
