Unfortunately, all components that *I* could possibly work with (cable connections, etc..) are stored within the inner HD casing (w/ disc itself) - so it looks like I will end up using http://www.drivesaversdatarecovery.com which was recommended by http://www.greenearthcomputers.us/ out of Amherst...
