Hello Jill, I have done slide scanning for a number of years. I am in Northampton and a long time photographer/digital media consultant. Slide scanning usually involves time in Photoshop doing color correction, cropping, dust and scratch removal as well. Do you have a deadline or budget for this? What resolution do you need? Please visit http://designnorthampton.com or http://itutor.biz for more info about me. Hope to work with you soon, Nate designnorthampton.com Graphic & Web Design * Fast and Affordable 25 Main St. #205, Northampton MA 01060 413.281.8184 iTutor Computers MAC/PC Support & Lessons www.itutor.biz 3333 --- On Sat, 2/27/10, jill logan <medialogan at yahoo.com> wrote: From: jill logan <medialogan at yahoo.com> Subject: [Hidden-tech] best way to convert slides to photos/computer To: hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net Date: Saturday, February 27, 2010, 9:36 PM ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. ** If you did, we all thank you. Hi, I have a bunch of slides from the 60's 70's - I want to convert to photos or convert / scan into my computer. Does anyone know the best way to do this? 1) I would like to do it myself so if you have had experience with a slide converter could you tell be the brand and rough price and how satisfied you are with this product - and if it was easy to do 2) or i would consider having someone else do it as long as they are local I wouldnt want to mail my slides off to anyone Thanks for any help you can offer Jill Logan MediaLogan at yahoo.com -----Inline Attachment Follows----- _______________________________________________ Hidden-discuss mailing list - home page: http://www.hidden-tech.net Hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net You are receiving this because you are on the Hidden-Tech Discussion list.
