As Kimo said - this is really about marketing and that means a lot more then the individual site, since there are many simpler CMS' that can be used I know that there are a number of artists that use Etsy.com - in fact there is a Western Mass cluster that all have esty sites and print a shared post card with all their work. One place for that is many Open studio days that most local areas have during the year - some monthly some yearly Also make sure to connect with the local sites posting many artists work as well as local projects supporting artists -- GCC has such a project As part of development of the Creative cluster in north valley see http://www.fosteringartandculture.org/ (disclamer: that is a site we developed in conjunction with the project) and UMass has an artists extension like Farm extension -- http://www.artsextensionservice.org/ Another spin is this kind of marketing is offering various related products at diff prices - that can be seen by painters offering originals, prints and postcards or potters offering 2nds (that I couldn't tell from 1st) Rich On 2/25/2010 10:37 AM, B.
