Support / Network Technician

 

This truly unique opportunity offers an individual a chance to work for
a nationally recognized philanthropic organization, The Harold Grinspoon
Foundation.  The Foundation is ranked in the top 1% of Supportive
Philanthropic Foundations in the United States.  Based in West
Springfield, MA, with remote offices in New York City and Israel, the
Foundation is seeking a Support/Network Technician to support the
information technology infrastructure for a forty-person office.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

-         Configure and install Windows-based PC's

-         Manage and maintain work group printers

-         Maintain user accounts in AD with some VBscripting

-         Maintain back-ups using back-up Exec for Windows Server

 

The ideal candidate will thrive in a small, yet fast-paced environment,
and will possess a minimum of 2-4 years experience in a similar
position.  Experience with remote as well as on-site support of Window's
XP and MS Office Suite is a must.  A solid understanding of TCP/IP,
DHCP, DNS as well as SQL 2008 administration knowledge is desirable.
Trouble shooting and managing multiple websites, maintaining of domain
registrations and the ability to select web hosting services that serve
in the company's best interests a huge plus.
