Presentation Abstract: MonoTouch allows developers to create C# and .NET based applications that run on Apple's iPhone and Apple's iPod Touch devices, while taking advantage of the iPhone APIs and reusing both code and libraries that have been built for .NET, as well as existing skills. This talk will provide an introduction to iPhone development with MonoTouch, including an overview of the tools and technology, and demonstrations of the development process end-to-end. About the Presenter: Joseph Hill has been active in the Mono community since 2003, and is a contributor to several open source ASP.NET projects.
