[Hidden-tech] AT&T Wireless service quality

I switched from Verizon to AT&T in order to get an iPhone about 9
months ago.
I had similar concerns given AT&T's bad reputation.

To my surprise and relief, while the AT&T coverage isn't as nearly
good as Verizon's,
it is certainly usable. I don't have dropped calls and can usually
get both voice
and data. (I still have a Verizon 3G modem for my laptop as a
connectivity hedge.)

I've never had a delayed voicemail although one of the half-dozen
iPhone users I queried this morning reports their voicemail has been
delayed
a few hour once in a great while.

All up, I've very happy with the iPhone.
The seamless integration with the Mac and the tech support at the
Holyoke mall
are priceless.
